Weekly Drawings 2023
The starting point for the weekly drawings are excerpts from my everyday reading (daily and weekly newspapers, art magazines, literature...) and subsequent research into a topic addressed in them.
In this way, each week I focus on a particular content, which I select from the flood of information and thoughts that constantly surround us. Looking back, a picture emerges of what has distressed and fascinated me during this period, reflections on questions that have preoccupied me, and gaps in my knowledge that are closing. It is a way to open up the world for myself selectively, to engage in artistic-active knowledge production, to research facts and backgrounds that would otherwise be lost in the noise of everyday life - and to connect with these topics in a completely different way than just cognitively.
52 pencil drawings, each 20x30 cm
